David Simmons

President and Board Member

David is a dedicated resident of the Kamas Valley, where he and his wife, Rachael, have proudly raised their six children over the past 20 years. David has a deep commitment to enhancing the quality of life for all in the community.

David’s commitment to the Valley grew out of his professional life when he, together with his family, relocated White Knight Fluid Handling, a high-purity fluid-handling company, from Michigan. This decision established the company locally and allowed David to actively participate in the community where he chose to live and work.

His dedication to local philanthropy has spanned several organizations, including serving on the boards of Claire the Heart Warrior Foundation, South Summit Trails Foundation, Ele Lembra Foundation, and prior service on the board of the South Summit Education Foundation. David enthusiastically supported the South Summit Education Foundation's evolution into the Kamas Valley Community Foundation (KVCF) to address the broader needs of the community. Today, David is committed to advancing the Foundation's expanded mission across its core pillars: Humanitarian, Education, Arts, and Recreation.

Having personally experienced the value of the Foundation through scholarships that benefited his own children, David is passionate about ensuring the KVCF remains a vital force for good, strategically uniting resources to build a stronger, more connected, and thriving Kamas Valley for current and future generations.
