Shandra Madsen
Board Member and Humanitarian Co-chair
Shandra grew up in Riverton, Utah, where she was next-door neighbors and childhood sweethearts with her husband, Todd. They both attended Bingham High and then went on to college at Utah Valley University, studying accounting. Shandra is an entrepreneur at heart and has owned several businesses over many years. She enjoys being able to work from home and use her talents to serve her community. Shandra is passionate about God, food, and family. She was a food blogger for over 17 years, inspiring families to save money and return to the dinner table through her company, Deals to Meals. She enjoys spending time with family, camping, vacationing, playing games, and enjoying the outdoors. Shandra has a passion for community service. For the past couple of years, she has served (with Todd) as Directors of a nonprofit organization called the Columbus Adult Education Center. This center helps hundreds of immigrants learn English. As director, she managed 100 teachers, 100 teens and youth, 1,200 students, and thousands of volunteers. Moving to Kamas made it challenging to serve on CAEC, and she was praying for a way to get involved in the community. She is thrilled to be a Co-Chair of the Humanitarian pillar of the KVCF.
